At The Scentique, every fragrance you receive is the result of a careful, deliberate process — from the moment we select our raw ingredients to the moment your parcel arrives at your door. Here's how we do it.

Step 1: Fragrance Concept & Brief

Every perfume at The Scentique begins with a creative brief — a clear vision of what the fragrance should feel like, who it's for, and what emotion it should evoke. Our Baker's Collection fragrances, for example, began with a brief to capture the warmth and joy of a Pakistani bakery morning. Our OUD Series began with a desire to honour Arabic perfumery tradition at accessible prices.

We study the fragrance families, the occasion, the gender, the season — before a single ingredient is selected.

Step 2: Ingredient Selection

We source premium fragrance concentrates and aroma chemicals that meet international quality standards. Our ingredients are selected for three criteria:

  • Performance — how well they project and last on skin
  • Safety — all ingredients comply with IFRA (International Fragrance Association) guidelines
  • Authenticity — they must genuinely recreate the intended scent experience

Step 3: Formula Development & Blending

Our in-house team blends the fragrance concentrate with a high-quality carrier base (typically a refined perfumer's alcohol or IPM base) at precise ratios to achieve our target EDP (Eau de Parfum) concentration. This concentration ensures the longevity our customers expect — 6 to 12 hours of wear depending on the fragrance family.

Blending is done in controlled batches to ensure every bottle is consistent. We don't cut corners on concentration — it's what separates a real EDP from a body mist pretending to be one.

Step 4: Quality Control & Testing

Before any fragrance goes to production, it goes through multiple rounds of testing:

  • Scent accuracy test — does it match the intended fragrance profile?
  • Longevity test — sprayed on skin in Pakistan's climate, tracked over 6–12 hours
  • Projection test — how far and how clearly does it radiate?
  • Skin safety check — tested on multiple skin types

Only fragrances that pass all four tests make it into our collection.

Step 5: Bottling & Packaging

Every fragrance is filled into our signature 50ml EDP bottles, sealed, and labelled with full product information including the fragrance name, volume, and batch number. Our packaging is designed to be clean, modern, and gift-ready — reflecting the quality inside.

Step 6: Dispatch & Delivery

Orders are picked, packed, and dispatched within 1–2 business days. We partner with reliable courier services to deliver across Pakistan — Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and everywhere in between. Every parcel is tracked so you know exactly where your fragrance is.
